Smart Hyperbaric
(sHBOT).
Targeted oxygen support for acute recovery, performance & tissue repair.
Smart Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (sHBOT) is an advanced form of oxygen therapy that delivers elevated oxygen levels under controlled pressure to help support the body’s natural repair systems. It’s used in clinical and performance settings to aid recovery from injury, surgery, inflammation and other conditions where a stronger oxygen signal can be beneficial.
Unlike gentler forms of oxygen support (such as mHBOT), sHBOT uses purpose-designed pressure protocols to create a more significant physiological stimulus — particularly useful when tissues need a clearer, stronger signal to heal.
For Acute Injury & Structural Repair
sHBOT can support healing after:
Sports injuries
Post-surgical recovery
Strain and overuse tissue damage
By delivering a stronger oxygen stimulus, it helps accelerate cellular processes involved in wound repair and tissue regeneration — including the growth of new blood vessels.
For Performance & Recovery
Elite athletes and physically active individuals use sHBOT to:
Reduce recovery time after intense sessions
Support muscle and soft tissue repair
Manage training-related inflammation
The targeted pressure and oxygen delivery help muscles and connective tissues get the oxygen and nutrients needed to adapt and recover.
For Circulation & Tissue Health
sHBOT promotes improved blood flow and oxygen-dependent metabolism — critical components of recovery and long-term tissue function. This can be particularly meaningful where circulation is compromised due to injury, inflammation or repetitive strain.

sHBOT sessions are typically 45–60 minutes. You’ll be comfortably positioned inside a dedicated hyperbaric chamber while the pressure is adjusted slowly and safely. The experience is calm, non-invasive and entirely guided — many Revivers use the time to rest, reflect or even listen to music.
Most people describe it as relaxing and restorative, with physiological effects that unfold in the hours and days after the session, rather than an immediate sensation or stimulation.
-
sHBOT may be appropriate if you are:
Recovering from a sports injury or surgical procedure
Looking to accelerate tissue repair
An athlete seeking enhanced recovery support
Managing chronic inflammation related to injury
Seeking targeted oxygen-based therapies recommended by a clinician
We always start with a consultation to make sure the approach matches your goals and physiology.

Why Smart Hyperbarics Works
Oxygen is not just a fuel — it’s a biological signal that influences how cells behave. Research shows that properly calibrated oxygen under pressure can stimulate angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth), reduce systemic inflammation and support cellular energy production.
Smart hyperbaric protocols — like the ones we use at Revive — are designed to deliver effective pressure without undue strain, supporting optimal tissue response without pushing the body beyond what it needs. This is why sHBOT is used in both clinical and performance settings where precision matters.

mHBOT vs sHBOT — What’s the Difference?
mHBOT (Hyperbaric Hydroxy):
Best for fatigue, jet lag, brain health, inflammation, everyday recovery, and regular use.sHBOT (Smart Hyperbaric):
Higher pressure, used selectively for performance, injury, or specific recovery goals.
At Revive, we guide clients to the right tool for the right job, rather than assuming more intensity equals better results.
