Firefly Light Therapy & F-Scan Wellness Scan

Personalised light therapy to support recovery, comfort and cellular wellbeing.

Firefly Light Therapy combines blue, red and near-infrared wavelengths with optional F-Scan frequency-guided wellness profiling. Together, they help create a more personalised light therapy session, designed around your body, your goals and the areas you would like to support.

At Revive, we use Firefly and F-Scan as a non-invasive wellbeing and recovery service. It is not a medical diagnostic test, and we do not use it to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

Instead, we position it as a supportive therapy for people who want a more personalised approach to light therapy, recovery and cellular wellbeing.

What Firefly may support:

Firefly uses multi-spectrum light therapy, including blue, red and near-infrared wavelengths. These forms of light are commonly used in photobiomodulation to support cellular energy, comfort, circulation, tissue repair and recovery.

Many clients are interested in Firefly because they are looking for support with:

✔ General inflammation and recovery
✔ Joint and muscle comfort
✔ Back, foot and soft tissue discomfort
✔ Nerve-related discomfort
✔ Circulation and tissue wellbeing
✔ Skin and wound-recovery support
✔ Gut and digestive wellbeing
✔ Energy, resilience and cellular health
✔ Recovery after physical stress, injury or illness
✔ A more personalised approach to light therapy

Some Firefly practitioners also discuss its use in relation to more complex areas such as autoimmune conditions, neurological wellbeing, cognitive health, diabetes-related complications, fungal issues, gut imbalances and post-injury recovery. At Revive, we discuss these carefully as areas of interest, not as treatment claims.

If you have a diagnosed medical condition, symptoms that concern you, or suspect an infection, we recommend speaking to your GP or healthcare provider before booking.

A personalised first step

The F-Scan helps us create a more targeted Firefly Light Therapy session.

It builds a frequency-guided wellness profile that can be used to personalise the Firefly settings, rather than relying on a standard protocol. This gives the session a more tailored focus and helps guide the treatment around your individual wellbeing goals.*

*We use the F-Scan to support personalisation, not diagnosis. It is not a medical scan and does not replace GP advice, blood tests, stool testing or other medical investigations.

F-Scan

  • Firefly is often chosen by clients who are looking for a gentle, non-invasive way to support the body’s natural recovery environment.

It may be suitable for people who are interested in support for:

    Pain, comfort and movement

Clients often explore Firefly when they are dealing with general discomfort, stiffness or reduced mobility. This may include areas such as back discomfort, arthritis-related joint concerns, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel-type symptoms, or nerve-related discomfort.

We do not treat or diagnose these conditions at Revive, but Firefly may be used as part of a broader wellbeing routine focused on comfort, recovery and movement.

    Recovery and tissue support

Light therapy is commonly used in wellness and recovery settings to support tissue wellbeing, circulation and the body’s natural repair processes.

Clients may be interested in Firefly during recovery from physical strain, soft tissue stress, surgery, wounds, injury or periods of increased inflammation. Where medical care is required, Firefly should only be used alongside appropriate professional guidance.

    Neurological and nerve wellbeing

Some practitioners use Firefly as part of broader support for people interested in nerve health, neurological wellbeing, Bell’s palsy-type symptoms, neuropathies, Parkinson’s-related wellbeing, cognitive health, traumatic brain injury or stroke recovery.

These are complex medical areas. At Revive, we do not claim Firefly treats neurological disease or reverses cognitive decline. We use it as a supportive, non-invasive wellbeing therapy that may sit alongside a wider recovery or lifestyle plan.

    Gut, immune and microbial wellbeing

Firefly practitioners sometimes discuss light therapy in relation to gut wellbeing, IBS-type symptoms, parasites, fungal issues and immune system support.

At Revive, we keep this language careful. We do not claim that Firefly or F-Scan can diagnose parasites, detect fungal infections, identify pathogens or treat gut conditions.

However, we can discuss Firefly as part of a broader wellbeing approach for people interested in supporting their internal environment, resilience, recovery and cellular health.

    Women’s wellbeing

Some clients may be interested in Firefly for comfort and recovery around menstrual wellbeing, including severe cramps or general pelvic discomfort.

We do not treat gynaecological conditions at Revive, and severe or unusual menstrual pain should always be discussed with a healthcare professional. Firefly may be considered as a gentle wellbeing support alongside appropriate medical care.

  • Your session starts with a short consultation and screening form so we can understand your goals and make sure the therapy is appropriate for you.

If using the F-Scan, we begin with the frequency-guided wellness scan. This helps create a personalised profile that can be used to guide your Firefly Light Therapy session.

You then relax while the first 5 minute Firefly light therapy is applied. The session is calm, gentle and non-invasive. Many clients use the time to rest, breathe, listen to music or simply switch off.

The team will explain each step before you begin.

  • Firefly is attracting interest from practitioners working with complex wellbeing concerns, including autoimmune conditions, cognitive health, Parkinson’s-related wellbeing, traumatic brain injury, stroke recovery and nerve-related symptoms.

The reason is simple: light therapy is widely researched for its role in supporting cellular energy, circulation, inflammation balance, tissue repair and neurological wellbeing. Firefly brings together blue, red and near-infrared wavelengths in a personalised, frequency-guided session designed to support the body’s natural recovery environment.

At Revive, we do not claim that Firefly treats autoimmune disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury or any diagnosed neurological condition. But for clients already receiving appropriate medical care, Firefly may be a valuable supportive therapy to explore as part of a wider wellbeing, recovery and resilience plan.

  • Many clients are interested in Firefly because they want non-invasive support for comfort, movement and recovery.

Firefly Light Therapy may be used to support areas commonly linked with stiffness, joint discomfort, back discomfort, nerve sensitivity, plantar fascia discomfort, carpal tunnel-type symptoms, osteoarthritis-related concerns and general physical recovery.

The aim is not to diagnose or “fix” a condition, but to support the body’s natural repair processes through targeted light therapy. By combining Firefly with the F-Scan wellness profile, we can personalise the session around the areas you most want to support.

For people living with ongoing discomfort, Firefly may sit well alongside other Revive therapies focused on recovery, circulation, inflammation support and overall wellbeing.

  • This is one of the more interesting emerging areas of light therapy.

Certain forms of light, particularly blue light and photodynamic approaches, are being studied for their effects on microbial activity in specific settings. Firefly practitioners also discuss the use of frequency-guided light therapy in relation to gut balance, fungal concerns, parasites and wider microbial wellbeing.

At Revive, we keep this carefully positioned. Firefly and F-Scan are not used to diagnose parasites, detect fungal infections, identify pathogens or treat gut conditions such as IBS.

However, clients interested in gut health, digestive balance, immune resilience or microbial wellbeing may choose Firefly as a supportive therapy within a broader wellbeing plan. The aim is to support the body’s internal environment, cellular function and recovery capacity — not to replace medical testing or treatment.

If you suspect an infection, parasite, fungal condition, IBS or any digestive issue, we recommend speaking to your GP or healthcare provider.
